Announcement of AIPVT Counselling 2016

The Counseling for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H Course under 15% All India Quota seats shall be conducted by a Veterinary Counseling Committee(VCC) appointed by the Veterinary Council of India and the decision of the Committee in respect of seat allotment shall be final.

The seats will be allotted to candidates as per their rank, choice, availability, reservation policy. The selection of candidates for admission to B.V.Sc.& A.H. degree course under 15% All-India Quota shall be applicable to the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State).

The eligibility criteria, various documents etc. of the candidate shall be verified by the allotted College at the time of reporting/ admission and the decision of the college in the matter shall be final.The Information Bulletin for AIPVT Counseling, Schedule, Venue and procedure of Counseling for the candidates as per merit list shall be displayed on the Council’s website with the AIPVT 2016 results and the same will be intimated to Merit/Wait List candidates through Email and SMS also.

List of Documents Bring at the time of AIPVT 2016 Counselling

The candidates appearing with following documents in original along with an attested copy of the documents for verification failing which they shall amount to disqualification and no counselling shall be held for such candidates:

1. Admit Card downloaded from Council’s website.

2. Counselling letter downloaded from Council’s website.

3.Date of Birth Certificate (Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate)

4. Qualifying Examination Mark sheet (Mark sheet should be Single Mark sheet)

5. Certificate (Provisional certificate of Qualifying Examination is permissible for those candidates who have passed in the year 2016 only).

6. Character Certificate,

7. Four passport size Photographs and one Postcard size Photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)

9. SC/ST Certificate as per format given in Appendix-XI issued by the competent authority and should be in English or Hindi. If it is in regional language then it should be translated in English/ Hindi and should be attested by Class I Gazetted Officer. Sub-caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.(If applicable)

10.OBC Certificate as per format given in Appendix-XII should be issued by the competent authority. The sub caste should tally with the Central list of OBC. OBC Candidates should not belong to Creamy layer.(If applicable)

11. The disability should be certified by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialist out of which two should be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him/her – self before the Medical Board. The last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board should not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his/her certificate for disabled candidates.The format of Loco-motor Disability Certificate to be produced is given in Appendix-X.(If applicable)

12. The candidates from Jammu & Kashmir who have uploaded Self Declaration claiming their eligibility under 15% All India Quota shall have to submit an affidavit as per Appendix-IV on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10/- duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/ First Class Judicial Magistrate.(If applicable)

Admission Fee

1. Candidates who will be confirmed the admission will be required to deposit part Non-Refundable admission fee of Rs 10000 via Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favor of “The Secretary, Veterinary Council of India” payable at New Delhi with the VCI.

2. In case admission is taken by the candidate in the college allotted by the Counseling Committee, the same shall be adjusted in the admission fee.

Eligibility and Educational Qualification

1. Applicants seeking for AIPVT 2016 must have qualified 12th class or equivalent examination from any recognized institute or university of state /central.

2. Applicants should have passed the required examination with minimum of 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English. 40% for candidates belonging to reserve category i.e. SC/ST/OBC

3. Applicants pursuing for 12th examinations 2016 from the science discipline can also apply for the AIPVT entrance test 2016.

4. Applicant must be an Indian citizen except of the state of Jammu & Kashmir

Age Limit

Age completed on 17 years of age and the age should not be exceeded than 25 years as on 31st December of 2016. The candidate belonging to reserve category will get age relaxation of 5 years i.e. for the ST/ SC/ OBC the maximum age limit will be 30 years.
