WBJEE JEHOM → Applicants seeking admission to AICTE approved Under Graduate (UG) Course in Hotel Management in the state of West Bengal for the academic session 2016-17 will have to appear in the state level Joint Entrance Examination. Candidates can apply online from the official website wbjeeb.in as per schedule date mention below. Those who fill their application on time will be eligible to download the admit card for written examination which will be held in the month of May 2016.

Counseling
Application form for appearing at the counseling can be down loaded from Board’s website on and from 14 June 2016. Counselling fees of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (nonrefundable) is to be paid either in the form of a Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board ” payable at Kolkata or by cash at the time of counselling at the counselling center.

Important documents required during counseling
• Counselling Application form (downloaded) duly filled-in and signed in specified places after affixing recent passport size photograph in the specified place.
• Original Admit Card of JEHOM-2016.
• Bank Draft or cash of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable)
• Downloaded result Sheet (The page which contains candidate’s name and rank)
• Original mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination
• Original mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) level or equivalent examination
During counselling or at any stage later it is found that the applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature shall be cancelled even if he/she has appeared in JEHOM- 2016 and secured a position in the merit list.
The candidature shall also be cancelled if he/she fails to produce any of the required documents in original as specified earlier or if any document is found to be faulty during counselling/ admission/ registration. The Board’s decision in this regard is final.

Candidates intending to appear in the examination have to apply through on-line application at Board’s website : www.wbjeeb.in or from the above link as per the schedule.
Age → Not less than 17 years as on 31 December 2016.
Admit Card
Admit Card for each applicant showing his/her Application Number, Examination Roll Number, Examination Centre along with necessary personal information will be available at www.wbjeeb.in on the notified date. Candidate has to carry to the examination centre a printed hard copy of the admit card along with a photograph identical with the one uploaded earlier.
Exam Pattern
The test will be on 50 questions, each carrying 2 marks (Full marks 100) to be completed in 1 hour. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. Answers are to be marked (bubbled) on OMR Answer Sheets using black /blue ball point pen. Each question will have four answer options of which only one is correct. Each correct response will fetch 2 marks, each incorrect response will fetch (-1/2) mark, whereas no response will fetch zero mark. Multiple responses for any question will fetch (-1/2) mark.

The examination will be conducted in centre(s) located at Durgapur, Siliguri and Kolkata. Any examination center may be dropped if adequate numbers of candidates are not available. The applicants from such center(s) will be allotted seats in Kolkata. The allotment of examination centre is fully at the discretion of the Board. Allotment made by the Board is final and no request for changing the zone/centre of examination will be entertained under any circumstances.
