The Dravidian University was established through a Legislature Act of Andhra Pradesh and conceived as an Inter - State Institution. The neighboring Governments of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala have extended initial support which enabled the University to take up constructions of Vemana Bhavan, Thiruvalluvar Bhavan, Narayanaguru Bhavan and Basava Bhavan remembering the great Social Saints of the South who enshrined the language cultures with their immortal thoughts. The Dravidian University is to foster and strengthen national integration through a wider knowledge and understanding of Dravidian Languages, Literature, Culture, Sciences and Technology. Application Form
DDE, Dravidian University has issued the application for admission into under Regular UG & PG Courses and Open University System (OUS) UG (B.A. & B.Com General) courses for the academic year 2015 -16. Candidates can download the application form from the official website www.dravidianuniversity.ac.in or through the direct link, which is given below on or before the last date. Candidates can also purchase the application form from the study centers or from the office of the DDE, Dravidian University, Kuppam.
The eligibility test for admission into UG Courses B.A. & B.Com (General) for the candidates who do not have any formal education will be held on as per the schedule. The candidates are requested to contact the study centers where they wanted to register. Those who fill their application on time they will be eligible to give eligibility test.
Application Fee
Registration fee for the application Rs. 350/- should be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Director, DDE, payable at Kuppam, Chittoor Dist, A.P.
Mode of Payment
Students who are seeking admission should submit the application form accompanying the registration fee and 1st year fee in a single Crossed Demand Draft in favour of the Director, DDE Payable at Kuppam. On the reverse side of the draft the name, address and subject of the student should be written. For any payment made to the Study Centre other than the prescribed fee, DDE will not hold any responsibility. Students have to remit the examination fee within the stipulated period as informed in their intimations. Fee once paid will not be refunded or transferred to any other course.

- UG courses – B.A/ B.Com (General) : A pass in the Eligibility test of 10+2 standard.
Regular System
- UG Courses : Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent.
- PG Courses: Graduate Degree in the concerned subjects.
Diploma Courses
- PGDCA (PG Diploma in Computer Applications) / PGDBA (PG Diploma in Business Administration) : Any Degree
Exam Pattern for PG
- Theory 70 marks
- Assignment 30 marks
Change of Examination Centre
If any candidate wants to change Examination centre for valid and specific reasons, a request in the prescribed application should be made to the Director, DDE with a Demand Draft of Rs.500/ in favor of the Registrar, Dravidian University, Kuppam Candidate’s application will be examined and if found eligible will be permitted for transfer.

Re- Admission
The candidates discontinued or at default of payment of tuition fee, during the academic year, can seek re-admission by submitting the application in the prescribed proforma on payment of Rs.500/ – towards registration and re-admission.
Enrollment Number
Unique student Enrollment Number will be assigned to the students on their admission. In all the communications addressed to the DDE/ Office or the Controller of Examinations, reference to this number should be made. Invariably Letters received without the Enrollment Number will not be entertained.
