IIM Ranchi → It has announced the selection criteria for admission . Admission to IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT) and also based on their profile. The PI & WAT process will be common to all the six new IIMs, namely, Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Kashipur. The cut-off CAT percentiles, weight age for different components and the profile scoring method are given below.

After the process is over, admission offers would be announced on the basis of a merit list. This consolidated merit list would be compiled on the basis of following components and their corresponding weights.
The details of the above mentioned components are mentioned as below
1. CAT Percentile →30 percent weight age is assigned to the CAT score of the candidates who are eligible for PI & WAT.
2. PI & WAT Score → PI & WAT scores of the eligible candidates of the six new IIMs will be directly collected from IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. Only the rest of the candidates need to appear for the Common Personal interview and Written Ability Test of the six new IIMs.
3. Profile → The profile scoring methodology for IIM Ranchi is given below.
• Academic Profile (15 Marks)
• Work Experience (5 Marks)
• Academic Diversity (5 marks)
• Gender Diversity (5 marks)
5 marks will be awarded to female candidates only.
