Candidates will be made in favor of Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation through online mode of payment for submission of application form.
List of Document to be Uploaded
1. Copies of the following documents should be uploaded on the application form available on the website.
2. Certificate of class Xth (for age verification).
3. Mark sheet of class XIIth (for verification of mark entered in the application form).
4. Caste Certificate from competent Authority. (SC/ST and OBC(Delhi).
5. Disability Certificate from Recognized Institute.
6. Passport size photographs measuring 3.5 cm. x 3.5cm should be uploaded at the time of filling up the online application. Any photograph smaller or bigger than the above mentioned size would lead to rejection of the application.
7. Scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
8. Candidates should attach a copy of 12th exam certificate as well as roll no. Issued by principal.
Note : No other documents other than the documents mentioned above should be uploaded.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December 2016). The upper age limit is 35 years (as on 31st December 2016). There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
2. Student must have secured 50% marks in 10+2. A relaxation of 5% marks will be granted to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe categories.
3. List of the subject to be considered for admission is given below. Any four subjects including English (three subjects + English) from the list given below are to be considered for entrance exam.
4. The student must have passed in all the subjects of 10+2 (five subjects as per C.B.S.E. policy).
Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM Course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council are also eligible to apply.
5. ANM training i.e. 10+1½ years should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination is also eligible to apply.
6. Candidate must be declared medically fit by the medical Board of Hindu Rao Hospital, Kasturba Hospital and Swami Dayanand Hospital respectively.
Note:
- Those candidates who have completed A.N.M. Course (10+2 Vocational {revised after 2001}) from school recognized by I.N.C are eligible to apply and should furnish a certificate from school principal regarding recognition of school by I.N.C.
- Candidate should attach a copy of 12th certificate as well as roll no. Issued by Principal.
Admit Card for MCD Nursing 2016
1. Admit Card for MCD Nursing Admission 2016 to appear in the Entrance Exam which will be held on 20 Oct 2016 will be received 19 Oct 2016 onward. MCD Nursing Admit Card 2016 will be received by Post only. There is no other way to download Admit card online.
2. If Roll Number /Admit Card not received by post latest by 18 Oct 2016, (Tuesday) then duplicate Admit Card/ Roll Number can be collected/ Issued to eligible candidate personally from School of Nursing, Hindu Rao Hospital on 19 Oct 2016 (Wednesday) between 9:00 AM to 4.00 PM. Candidates are requested to bring one passport size identified photograph for issuance of duplicate Roll Number/ Admit card.

1. The entrance test will be based on the syllabus of Sr. Secondary (10+2).
2. The entrance test will be of 100 marks comprising of MCQ’S.

Merit List
Common / Category wise merit list of eligible candidates will be displayed on NDMC/MCD’s website, Notice Boards of respective Schools of Nursing (i.e. HRH, KH & SDNH) on 21 Oct 2016 (Friday) 10:00 am onward.
In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the merit list, the merit of such candidates would be determined in the following order of performance:-
1. The candidate, who is older in age, will be considered at higher place in merit list.
2. If the age is same, then the candidate, obtaining higher marks in aggregate of 10+2 examination will be placed at higher rank in the merit list.
Selection Process
Candidate will be selected strictly on the basis of merit of entrance test.
Important Instruction to Candidates
1. If the candidate fails to accept admission, or does not submit original mark sheet and certificate of 10th & 12th, Character Certificate, SC/ST/OBC(Delhi) Certificate at the time of counselling,then the seat will be offered to next meritorious candidate.
2. All the admissions are provisional subject to verification of 10+2 certificate from concerned examination board /university / authority.
3. Mere appearance in entrance test, does not confirm any right to claim admission unless the candidate fulfills all eligibility conditions mentioned under various heads in the prospectus / bulletin of information.
4. Canvassing for admission in any form will entail rejection / cancellation of application form / admission entry to entrance examination hall.
5. Medical examination: All the students will have to undergo the medical examination by the Authorized Medical Board of Hindu Rao Hospital, Kasturba Hospital and Swami Dayanand Hospital . Only those students who are found medically fit will be allowed to continue the training.
Counselling MCD Nursing 2016
List of candidate eligible for counselling shall be put on the notice boards of School of Nursing Hindu Rao Hospital, Kasturba Hospital & Swami Dayanand Hospital and also on NDMC/MCD website on 21 Oct & 22 Oct 2016 at 10.00 AM onward.
1st Round Counselling
Candidate report 1 to 150 for counselling from combined merit list.
Display of vacant seats for all categories after the completion of 1st round of Counselling would be displayed on the notice board of Schools of Nursing, Hindu Rao Hospital on 25 Oct 2016 (Friday) at 9:00 am.
2nd Round Counselling will held for vacant seats on 25 Oct 2016 post lunch.
Display of vacant seats for all categories after the completion of 2nd Counselling (if seat/s available) would be displayed on the notice board of School of Nursing Hindu Rao Hospital on 26 Oct 2016 at 9:00 am.
3rd Counselling (If required)
Note: – The next counselling will commence from immediate next rank onward for all categories and the candidates who were absent in the first/previous counselling will not be permitted to attend the subsequent counselling.
Important Instruction regarding Admission
1. No postal / Telephonic correspondence regarding admission shall be entertained.
2. Admission will be strictly on the merit of Entrance test.
3. The candidate would be called on the basis of the rank obtained in the entrance test and should present themselves for the counselling and mark attendance on the date and time as specified. Only those candidates whose names are listed will be considered for counselling.
4. The selected candidate should bring the original certificates and attested copies of (1) Class 10th Certificate for proof of date of birth (2) 12th class Mark sheet (3) Character Certificate (4) Certificate of SC / ST / OBC (Delhi) (If applicable) issued in the name of student.
5. The original certificates will be deposited and kept by the school of nursing at the time of admission. In no condition photocopies will be accepted in its place. If candidate does not deposit original certificate or documents, her admission will be considered as cancelled. If at any stage of training the certificate is found to be forged, an FIR will be lodged by the school authority against the candidate and training of the candidate will be terminated from the course immediately without prior notice. However, the original certificates will be returned back to the candidates after verification of the same by the department.
6. Admission will be confirmed only after verification of original certificates from C.B.S.E. / Exam Board and medical fitness by medical Board of respective , Hindu Rao Hospital , Kasturba Hospital and Swami Dayanand Hospital.
7. The candidates who have not attended the 1st counselling / previous counselling are not eligible for next round of counselling.
8. Merely invitation/ appearance for counselling up to specified rank does not guarantee any right to admission.
9. Candidate should possess the Caste Certificate duly issued by the competent authority at the time of making of application, otherwise she will not be entitled for benefit of concerned category of reservation.
