About University

Birsa Agricultural University was established on 26th June, 1981 after its formal inauguration by the then Prime Minister of India, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi. Agricultural education was first started in Bihar in 1945.It was established keeping in view of the specific agriculture features of Chotanagpur and Santhal Parganas in Bihar.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria 

  • MBA
Graduation and a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

  • BVSC & A.H 
Candidate must have passed intermediate from any recognized board / universities.

  • B.Sc (Hon.)[Agriculture]
Candidate must have passed intermediate from any recognized board / universities.

  • M.Sc
candidate must have a recognized undergraduate degree in B. SC. from a recognized university or equivalent.

  • MVSC 
candidate should essentially has graduation degree in B.V.S.C with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Also a person should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2.

For admission to undergraduate courses, candidate must have passed intermediate or +2 from recognized board.

For admission to Postgraduate courses, candidate must have passed graduation from recognized university.

Fee Structure

Diploma - 17,600.
MBA - 31,600.
Certification - 5,000.
