About University

People's University was established by the Madhya Pradesh legislature through an amendment in Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam-2007 as Madhya Pradesh Act (No.18 of 2011) - People's University, Bhopal as a state Private University and is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.Our journey began with an objective of" Nurturing Humanity through Health & Educational Excellence", when SJPN decided to establish educational institutes as centre for excellence.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Tech
Candidate should have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science /Electronics. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
  • MBA
Candidate should have Bachelor Degree (Minimum 3 years Programme) or Post Graduate Degree of this University or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the University, with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
  • B.SC
Candidate should have passed (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.
  • BBA
Candidate should have passed (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.
  • M.B.B.S
Candidate should have passed qualifying examination as under:- The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education.
  • B.Com
Candidate should have passed (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.
  • B.Pharm
Candidate shall be the pass with minimum of 50% marks obtained in 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology conducted by State/Central Board of Secondary Education or any other board/University.
  • BHMCT
Candidate shall be the passing of 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination in any stream through a recognized board with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for scheduled castes/scheduled tribes and other backward classes.
  • BDS
Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive entrance examination, by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the competitive examination. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes of any other categories notified by the Government the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination be 40% instead of 50% as stated above.
  • BMLT
Candidate shall be 10+2 system of education in science group or equivalent examination with Chemistry, Physics & Biology, as main subjects conducted by a recognized Board/Council/ University with minimum of 40% marks.
  • BPT
Candidate shall be 10+2 system of education in science group or equivalent examination with Chemistry, Physics & Biology, as main subjects conducted by a recognized Board/Council/ University with minimum of 50% marks. However for SC/ST/OBC candidate the percentage will be relaxed to 45%.
  • M.D
Candidate should have M.B.B.S. Degree of any University recognized by the Medical Council of India and People’s University.
