About University

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, a Deemed University was granted this status by the University Grants Commission in 2005. It has been reaccredited with the Grade A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of five years in March 2013. Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences is a Public Trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. It was previously known as Smt. Radhikabai Meghe Memorial Medical Trust. It was established by Shri Dattaji Meghe who was a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha).

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

  • BDS
Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examination/(10+2) or the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination or any other examination equivalent to (10+2) HSSC examination of any recognized Board/University,
  • B.SC
Candidate should have passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board/University.
  • M.SC
Candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, with minimum of 55 % aggregate marks. 5% relaxation of marks for the Reserved category candidates.
  • BAMS
Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examination/(10+2) or the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination or any other examination equivalent to (10+2) HSSC examination of any recognized Board/University,
  • MDS
Candidate should have bachelors degree in Dental Science from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India with minimum 50% Aggregate. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
  • M.S
Candidate should have bachelors degree in Medicine (MBBS) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
  • M.B.B.S

  • BAMS - 2,410,200 per year.
  • M.SC - 90,000 per year.
