Aligarh Muslim University will admit students in AMU MBBS BDS 2016 courses as per the schedule given below. Medical aspirants who seek admission in AMU have to applied for the AMU 2016 MBBS and will be appearing in the NEET 2016. CBSE will conduct NEET 2016 Phase 2 on July 24, 2016. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2016 Phase 2 is an all India level medical entrance exam. This is for All India quota medical seats, and state quota seats of those seats who will opt to offer admission on basis of NEET 2016 Phase 2 Result.

After applying online they have to submit PDF generated copy in AMU either in person or through Registered Post by 27th July 2016. However, PDF generated copy is not required from the candidates whom roll numbers have already been alloted by AMU for appearing in Tier 1 Test.
Eligibility Criteria of AMU MBBS/BDS
• Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of this University or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Further, the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Age limit: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.
• AMU MBBS BDS Selection Process: Through NEET 2016 Examination.
AMU MBBS Latest News → The result of MBBS / BDS Entrance Test conducted on 10 Apr 2016 stands cancelled. AMU will not conduct Seperate Entrance Test for admission to MBBS / BDS and has decided to admit the students based on the score obtained in NEET.
Entrance Exam (cancelled)
The Tier-1 of the Medical / Dental Admission Test was conducted in AMU Campus as well as in all the outside Admission Test Centres of AMU, as approved by the Academic Council and Tier-2 will be held only in AMU Campus at Aligarh.
In the Tier-2 Admission Test System for MBBS / BDS, the chance to appear for the Tier-2 Test will be given to 30% of the candidates in order of merit who appear in the Tier-1 Test, in each category of general and internal candidates, subject to a maximum of 15000 candidates, which is the capacity of the University to accommodate. In case an exceedingly large number of candidates appear, the percentage may equitably be reduced, to keep the ceiling to a maximum of 15000 candidates.
