Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines, Delhi University offers admission into the Ayurved Vachaspati (MD/MS-Ayurved) Courses. There shall be on Entrance Test for admission to the Ayurved Vachaspati (MD/MS–Ayurved) under the Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines and said test has conducted by University of Delhi.

Application Form may also be downloaded from websites at www.du.ac.in and www.fmsc.ac.in and submit the same duly filled in and complete in all respect, with requisite Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque (any Nationalized Bank), to the office of the Joint Registrar, Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicine, 6th Floor, V.P. 1. By hand in person against Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 1500/- in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi between 09.30 A.M. to 03.00 P.M. on all working days from Monday to Friday up to 17 Aug 2016.
2. By Post against Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 1550/- in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi by sending a self addressed envelope up to 08 Aug 2016.
For SC/ST/Pwd Category
1. By hand in person against Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 1300/- in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi between 09.30 A.M. to 03.00 P.M. on all working days from Monday to Friday up to 17 Aug 2016.

Exam Pattern
1. The University of Delhi will hold a written Entrance Test at Delhi for selection of candidates for admission to Ayurved Vachaspati (MD/ MS – Ayurved).
2. The Entrance Test will consist of one paper consisting of 100 questions covering all subjects of Ayurvedic Medicine of at the level of Ayurvedacharya (BAMS). The duration of the test will be of two hours and will carry a maximum of 400 marks.
3. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices (a), (b), (c) & (d) of which only one choice/response will be the most appropriate/ correct one.
4. The question paper will be bi-lingual, i.e. in English and Hindi languages for Ayurved Vachaspati (MD/MS – Ayurved).
Note : Minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test shall be 50 marks out of 100 i.e. 50% for General category 45 marks out of 100 i.e. 45% case of OBC category and 40 marks of 100 i.e. 40% marks in case of SC/ST category.

Result
1. Result of eligible candidates shall be notified on the Notice Board of the Faculty and on the website www.fmsc.ac.in tentatively two/three weeks from the date of Entrance Test.
2. The selected candidates will be required to undergo medical examination by a constituted Medical Board at the assigned institution at their own cost on the specified date. A candidate shall not be allowed to join the course, if he/she is found medically unfit for the course.
In case there is tie of marks in the result of Entrance Test
1. The candidate who has got more marks in the subject of discipline at BAMS examination will be given preference for admission.
2. If the candidates have equal marks in the subject of discipline at BAMS, then the candidate having more marks in the aggregate of all Professionals BAMS, will be given preference for admission.
3. If the candidates have equal marks in all Professionals BAMS, then the candidate older in age will be given preference for admission.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The Candidates must have completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotator internship after passing the Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) examination from the University of Delhi on or before 30th September and must have full registration with the State Council Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.
2. The Candidate must have passed Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) or equivalent examination from other university established by law and recognised by the University of Delhi and CCIM and have also completed one year or six months internship in a recognised Hospital on or before 30th September and must have full registration with the State Council/Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.
Seat Distribution
50% of the total seats in Ayurved Vachaspati (MD/MS-Ayurved) Courses are reserved for candidates who have passed Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) degree from the University of Delhi (Delhi University Quota) and the rest 50% of the total seats are open to the candidates who have passed Ayurvedacharya (BAMS) degree from other recognized Universities (All India Quota).Category wise quota of colleges in Delhi and All India given below.

Counselling
The candidates in order of merit will be required to appear before the Admission Committee on 29 Sep 2016 at 09:00 A.M. for counseling in the Conference Center, Opposite Department of Botany, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110007. No individual communication will be sent to the candidates for appearing for counseling by Admission Committee. If any candidate is unable to appear on the date and time specified above, he/she may send his/her representative authority letter (Performa) giving reasons for his/her absence to the satisfaction of Admission Committee and also stating that the selection made by his/her representative would be final and binding on him/her. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Counseling.
The candidate should bring, in original, the following documents at the time of counseling.
1. Admit Card.
2. High School/Higher Secondary (10th Class) Certificate for verification of Date of Birth.
3. BAMS Degree/Provisional Certificate.
4. Detailed Mark Sheet of all BAMS Professional Examinations.
5. The compulsory rotatory Internship Certificate in a recognised Unani and Ayurvedic hospital.
6. Employer’s No Objection Certificate, if employed.
7. Registration Certificate with State Council/Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines/CCIM.

Note:
1. 200 point roster has been applied in alphabetic order of the discipline.
2. If any seat(s) remains vacant in 50% Delhi University Quota due to nonavailability of the eligible candidates, these seats may be filled up by the eligible candidates belonging to 50% All India Quota and vice-versa.
