Online Application Form of GURU Punjab PAET & PGAET 2016 is available on the University’s official website. Interested & eligible candidates can also fill the online application form trough the direct link, which is given below.
Application Fee
PAET 2016 : Rs. 4500/-(for SC Rs. 3000)
PGAET 2016 : Rs. 7000/-(for SC Rs.4500)
Admit Card
The University was provided the facility of downloading Admit Cards of GURU Punjab PAET & PGAET-2016. Candidates are required to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein. Candidates may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post. The admit cards was available on university website. Candidates must not mutilate the Admit card or change any entry made therein. Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good condition till admission is over. Candidate can check their admit card direct link given below.
Scheme of GURU Punjab PAET 2016
1. The Test shall have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
2. The duration of test will be three hours, which includes the time consumed in signatures, thumb impressions, photography and other security measures.
3. There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions (50 each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology).
4. Each question will carry four marks, thus total marks will be 800.
Scheme of GURU Punjab PGAET 2016
1. The Test shall have one paper consisting of 50 questions.
2. The duration of test will be one and half hours, which includes the time consumed in signatures, thumb impressions, photography and other security measures.
There will be 50 Multiple Choice Questions.
Each question will carry four marks, thus total marks will be 200.
Note: The questions will be in English. The candidate will be required to find out the correct answer and mark it on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet by darkening the corresponding oval against the serial number of the question with black fine tip ball pen only.
Center's for the conduct of PAET 2016
The test shall be conducted at the centers decided by the University However, the city/cities, center/centers for the candidates shall be intimated by the University through university website/email.
Result – Announced
The result of PAET/ PGAET-2016 has been declared by the University and is available on University website www.graupunjab.org. The exam was held on 07 August 2016. Eligibility Criteria
1. BAMS & BHMS Courses : Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/BC and 45% for Physical Handicapped*) for BAMS and 40% marks (33% for SC/BC) for BHMS taken together in PCB and also in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in 10+2 examination.
2. MD (Ayurveda) Courses : A person possessing the Degree in Ayurved of a University or Board or Medical Institution specified in the second schedule to the Act notified by the Department of AYUSH, Govt. of India/CCIM, shall be eligible for admission in the Postgraduate degree course.
3. MD (Homoeopathy) Courses : No candidate shall be admitted to MD (Homoeopathy) course unless he/she possesses the degree of –
4. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Direct Degree) or equivalent qualification in homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Homoeopathy Central Council Act,1973 (59 of 1973).
5. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded degree) or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973).
Note: Compulsory Rotatory Internship is essential and must be completed up to 30 June 2016.
Merit List
The University will prepare a list of the applicants for admission out of the successful candidates in the order of merit based on the PAET & PGAET-2016 Rank and the provisions of the Punjab Government Notification and corrigendum issued from time to time and subsequent notifications in this regard for the purpose of allotment of seats in the different courses/institutions.
Counselling
After declaration of PAET & PGAET-2016 candidates have to fill online counselling form through University website www.graupunjab.org. It is compulsory to take part in online counselling for allotment of seat.
