The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State as per G.O.(Ms) No.31/83/H.Edn. dated 19.02.1983. The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. Of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about one lakh seventy thousand candidates participate every year. The other courses for which the CEE conducts Entrance Examinations are Three year LLB, Five Year LLB, LLM, MD Homoeo, MDS, MD Ayurveda, M Sc Nursing, PG Medical and PG Super Speciality. In addition to the conduct of Entrance Examinations, the Commissionerate is making allotments to 5 Courses, KEAM, LLB 3 Year, LLB 5 Year, LLM and P G Medical Courses.The allotments to rest of the courses are made by the authorities concerned.
The counseling of KEAM Medical 2016 is conducted by the exam conducting authority, Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) for admissions to 1200 MBBS and 240 BDS seats available in government medical and dental colleges of Kerala. Candidates must note that as per the orders released by Ministry of Health and Welfare department, CEE Kerala will also conduct the counseling for private medical and dental colleges of Kerala.

Fee Structure
Remittance of the fees
1. After the seat allotment result will be declared, candidates have to remit the prescribed fee for the course to the account of CEE in specified branches of State Bank of Travancore in the stipulated time mentioned.
2. Fee will be remitted, a receipt will be issued by the bank as a token of the fee remittance.
3.Those candidates who do not remit the fees on or before the stipulated time will lose their allotment as well as eligibility for the further allotments.

5. Eligibility certificate from any University in Kerala, in the case of candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than Higher Secondary Examination/Vocational Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Government of Kerala or the examination conducted by CBSE and CISCE.
6. Receipt of fee remitted in the Bank.
7. Migration Certificate, (if applicable).
8. Admit Card of the Entrance Examination 2016.
9. Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
10. Mark Data sheet of the Entrance Examination.
11. Any other documents required by the Head of Institution.
For Download Key Number
1. The Candidates who have applied online for Kerala Engineering/Medical Entrance Examinations and remitted the application fee by way of Demand Draft(DD) or Online Payment can download their ‘Key Numbers’ from 02.06.2016 to 07.06.2016 through the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
2. The applicants will have to enter their Application number and Roll.
3. By clicking on the ‘Print Key Number’ link and by providing the password, Key Number can be downloaded. The Key Number is essential for submitting Mark Data of qualifying examination, NATA Score submission and for exercising online options.
4. Candidate can contact Facilitation Centres for any help during counselling procedure. This help for Resetting Password and obtaining Key Numbers as well.
