HP LEET → Admission to Diploma courses in Govt. & Pvt. Polytechnics in Himachal Pradesh under Lateral Entry Scheme for the academic session 2016-17. Students Admitted in various Polytechnics will have to submit their Registration Form through their concerned Polytechnics within one month from the last date of counseling.

• All the candidates, including those who had earlier participated in any round of online counseling/spot counseling, whether selected /not selected or had deposited fee but had not joined due to any reason, are hereby given another opportunity to seek admission on these vacant seats, details of which are available on the aforesaid Websites.
• The desirous candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned in relevant Prospectus i.e. (PAT/LEET/D. Pharmacy-2016) available on the Board’s website www.hptechboard.com may report to the concerned Principals of Govt. Polytechnics where ever the seats are available along with all the original certificates and testimonials on 11-08-2016 before 1.00 P.M. positively.
• The admission to these vacant seats will be started w.e.f. 2.00 PM on wards on the same day and shall be based on the merit list so prepared of the received applications at the concerned Govt. Polytechnic.
Note → If the candidates who were earlier allotted seats through online counseling mode and had deposited fee for the allotted seats but had later on decided to re- exercise their options in the subsequent rounds of counseling and also got the seats allotted in the subsequent rounds of counseling as per their revised preferences, but did not join/report to the concerned institution by the cut-off date, are also hereby advised to seek afresh admissions by appearing in this spot counseling. The fee deposited earlier by them shall be adjusted, if they are selected or else shall be refunded as per rules

2. Click on “Online Admission LEET-2016”.
3. On the top corner of the window Click on to login for existing member.
4. Login with the temporary id of the candidate.
5. In place of password enter “1234” and login.
6. After logging in open the application form enter all the data then click on “Saved & proceed to next step”.
7. Upload the candidate photograph and signature.
8. Then go to the “Payment Details” , check the mode of payment through Challen or debit card .
9. Completing details regarding payment, candidate can Click on “Save & Submit” to complete the process

Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Entrance fee amounting to Rs. 650/-(General Category) and Rs. 400/- (SC/ST/OBC Categories).
The fee can be paid online through the admission portal through credit card, debit card and Internet banking or through Banking Challan of State Bank of Patiala after taking print of Bank Challan from the portal and paying the fee at State Bank of Patiala counter. The detail of Challan journal number/Transaction ID number has to be fed by the candidate for confirmation of fee.

9. On submitting the form an Email and SMS will be sent to you on your registered email ID and Mobile No.
10. On the home page click on Login button.
11. Enter the Login and Password to login.
12. Click on Apply online Link.
13. You will be redirected to the Application Form with auto-populated details which are provided during the New Registration.
14. Please provide all the details as required in the application form. ‘*’ marked fields are mandatory and information must be entered to complete and submit the form successfully.
15. You may read the Instructions to fill the form before starting with filling the details.

17. In case you are non-Himachali, all sub-categories would be disabled and are not needed to be filled.

19. Once form is filled and terms & conditions are accepted, click on “Save & Proceed to Next step” button at the end of the form.

Eligibility Criteria
• The candidate must have 12th Science or / 12th Science with Vocational or / 12th Science with Technical or / Xth +(2years ITI/COE) with appropriate specialization as per AICTE Norms.
• In case a candidate has appeared/appearing in 12th Science or / 12th Science with Vocational or / 12th Science with Technical examination in March,2016 can appear in LEET subject to the condition that his/her eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the Central Admission Selection Committee. Admission will be granted only after the candidate fulfill all the eligibility conditions.
Details of Reservation
• It is a common admission test. Reservation/weight age of any kind will be provided as per Govt. policy by the Admission Selection Committee. The category & sub-category as filled in the online form by the candidate shall be final and may not be changed in general; hence the decision of the Admission selection committee will be final.
• Candidate seeking admission in two or more different sub categories of main category shall required to fill one application form and shall mark his options as per the instructions given for filling-up the online application form. If the candidate has not mentioned any category/sub-category in his application form, his candidature shall be considered against General category only.
Exam Pattern
• The Lateral Entry Entrance Test shall be conducted through a single question paper of 03 hours duration as per the following details :
1. Mathematics → 25 Questions
2. Physics → 25 Questions
3. Chemistry → 25 Questions
4. General Knowledge → 25 Questions(State-15,National Level-10)
• All questions will be of objective type and each question carries equal marks.
• Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers. The candidate will have to choose the correct answer and dark/shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black pen adhering to the instructions provided.
• There shall be no re-evaluation or re-checking of answer sheet.
• For correct answer, 04(four) marks will be awarded and 01(one) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Language of the Paper → The question booklet will be set and supplied in bi-lingual i.e. English & Hindi.

It is brought to the notice of the General Public that spot counselling to fill up vacant seats in the 1st year & 2nd year (LE) of diploma courses and also vacant seats in 1st year D. Pharmacy course/ which are available at various Govt. Polytechnics in Himachal Pradesh as on date, shall be conducted on 11 Aug 2016 in the respective Govt. Polytechnics.
