West Bengal joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed as West Bengal Board of Examinations for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges in the year 1962, born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges of the State of West Bengal. The basic purpose was to select candidates for consideration for admission to the State Colleges on the basis of the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number of entrance tests.

Nursing, B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) and B.A.S.L.P. (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology courses in different Government / Private Homeopathic / Ayurvedic / Unani Medical Colleges and Nursing / Physiotherapy Colleges / Institutes of West Bengal during the academic session 2016-2017 through Joint Entrance Test (JENPARH) 2016.Candidates who wish to appear in the JENPARH 2016 examination can fill their application form from www.wbresults.co.in / www.wbjeeb.in as per the given below schedule.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is known as WBJEEB. The application process has started for JENPARH 2016. Candidates are advised must ensure their eligibility and other condition before applying online application.

Application Fee
Application fee is Rs. 510.00 (Application Fee Rs. 500/- and Bank Charges Rs. 10.00).
Application fee will be made through Allahabad Bank branches for this examination.
How to apply
1. An online application form has been released at the official website of the board. Candidates must download the information brochure and go through details of the exam before applying for the same.

2. Read the instruction carefully before filling online application.
3. Click on Online Application link from the official website.
4. Submit their details such as personal detail, qualification details and so on as per requirement.
5. Pay the requisite fee (mention above)
6. The candidate has to input name, date of birth, gender, e-mail id and mobile number and password. Candidate must take utmost care to give these inputs. If mistakes are committed there is no chance of correction. The given mobile number and e-mail id will be used for all further communication. At the end of this step the candidate may opt to logout or continue to next step. For further log in, candidate has to use his/her application number, date of birth and password.
7. The candidate has to enter his/her personal and academic information and also two choices of examination center. The fields mark with (*) are mandatory fields, i.e. mandatory to be filled in.
8. The candidate has to upload scanned copies of his/her photograph, signature, LTI and Admit Card / Mark sheet of 10th standard as age proof.

Essential features of the photograph
1. The photograph must be in colour taken preferably after 01 March 2016.
2. Low quality photographs, such as by mobile phones or self composed portraits may result in rejection of application.
3. Background of the photograph must be of very light colour.
4. The face should occupy at least 50% area of the photograph with a full face view looking into the camera directly.
5. Spectacles of dark or tinted glasses are not permitted.
6. Main feature of the face must not be covered by shadow, cloth or hair of the head. Forehead, eyes, nose and chin must be clearly visible.
7. The photograph must match with the candidate’s appearance at the time of examination.
Payment and Confirmation
1. The candidate will be directed to the page of fee payment and will have following two options:
Payment by Debit/Credit card: The candidate has to select Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the fee of Rs. 500 + service charges and follow the instruction to complete the payment process. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the “Confirmation Page”.
2. Payment by Allahabad Bank Callahan: The candidate has to select ‘Offline payment mode’ to deposit the fee. As soon as he/she selects the option, ‘e- Callahan’ will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with amount Rs. 500 + bank’s service charges to be paid. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and logout. He/she has to take it to any branch of Allahabad Bank for making payment.
3. The “Confirmation Page” will be generated after successful updating of payment. The candidate can take a print of the confirmation page and logout. Alternately he can save a PDF copy and logout and take the print later. Also he can simply logout and login later to print the confirmation page.
4. After submitting all the details candidates are advised must take printout of their filled up application form for future references.

He/she must have subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. For admission he/she must have Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

5. Candidates should have passed 10th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian as a subject, or clear the test of Urdu in the entrance examination conducted by the University or Board or recognized society authorized by the Government to conduct such examination.
6. For B.Sc. Nursing (Only female candidates are eligible)
The candidate should have passed in the year 2016 or earlier or appeared in the year 2016 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council (such as AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSCE etc.) of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. For admission he/she must have 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together and pass marks in each subject individually.
The candidate should have passed in the year 2016 or earlier or appeared in the year 2016 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council (such as AISSCE / CBSE / ICSE / SSCE / HSCE etc.) of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. For admission he/she must have 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together and pass marks in each subject individually.
7. B.A.S.L.P (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology)
The candidate should have passed in the year 2016 or earlier or appeared in the year 2016 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. He/she must have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Mathematics/ Computer science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology.
The candidate should have passed in the year 2016 or earlier or appeared in the year 2016 at the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. He/she must have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Mathematics/ Computer science/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Psychology.
8. Not less than 17 years as on 31 December, 2016.

Note:
Candidate has to carry to the examination center a printed hard copy of the admit card along with a photograph identical with the one uploaded earlier.
Candidates are advised to retain their admit cards carefully in secured place in undamaged condition in all respects till completion of admission procedure.
Exam Pattern
1. The test will consist of the two papers namely a) Biological Sciences (100 marks) and b) Physics & Chemistry (100 marks). Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions .
2. All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. Answers are to be marked (bubbled) on OMR Answer Sheets using black /blue ball point pen.
3. Each question will have four answer options of which only one is correct. Each correct response will fetch 2 marks, each incorrect response will fetch (-1/2) mark, whereas no response will fetch zero mark. Multiple responses for any question will fetch (-1/2) mark.
4. The questions will be in English and Bengali language.
5. Question will be based on the syllabus of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE.

7. Merit list for successful candidates will be prepared by listing them in the descending order of the total marks scored by them. However, there may be ties and such ties will be broken by sequentially applying the following set of rules.

1. Less negative marks in Biology, Physics & Chemistry taken together.
2. More positive marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together.
3. More positive marks in Biology and Physics taken together.
4. Less negative marks in Biology and Chemistry taken together.

During generation of the merit list, if after applying the 5 rules stated above there are still ties, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
Rules for scrutiny/review of Answer Sheet
The Board neither publishes nor communicates the result to any individual applicant. It does not have any provision for post publication, scrutiny and/or review arid hence will not entertain any such application after the examination.

Instructions for Counselling – 3rd Round
A vacancy list was published on 20 Sep 16 after B.Sc. Nursing (JENPAUH ) 2nd round counselling. There were some candidates whose category upgradation took place in the same college but they did not report second time at the same college for category upgradation. As they were already admitted to that college, so a consideration was done to detain the candidates in the same college after category upgradation. Therefore a resultant vacancy is created in category. So the final vacancy list is given below.

Instruction For 3rd round counselling
1. Candidates who are medically unfit, but took admission in 1st & 2nd round of counselling 2016, the admission will stand as cancelled. The seat will be vacated.
2. Candidates, who were allotted seat at any college during 1st and 2nd Counselling, but did not take admission, will not be able to participate in further round of Counselling.
3. Candidates who have deposited Counselling fee to any branch of Allahabad Bank for registration but could not complete the registration process, will be allowed to register themselves during 3rd Counselling and fill up their choices.
4. All candidates who opted for upgradation can do the choice filling as a fresh.
5. PWD/SC/ST/OBC/OBC-A /OBC-B candidates whose admission was cancelled due to non-submission of proper/valid caste certificates are allowed to participate in the counselling as per their general merit rank.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must not be below 17 years of age on 31 Dec 2016.
2. Only female candidates who have secured 50.00 % or above in case of Unreserved candidates in aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE) and pass marks in each subjects (separately in theory and practical ) in higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination, in case of reserved candidates aggregate marks should be 40.00% or above and pass mark in each subject (PCBE) (separately in theory and practical).
3. Must be permanent resident of West Bengal For admission in Govt. Institution.
4. Rank holder in JENPAUH Examination, 2016.
Counselling Procedure
1. All eligible and willing merit listed candidates can register after payment of the required fee at Allahabad bank from any place and access the counselling application through internet on the validation of a few credentials available on individuals JENPAUH ADMIT CARD.
2. Candidates have to pay the counselling fee. Payment must be done offline before registration by generating the Callahan from the www.wbmcc.nic.in website.
3. On successful registration, a candidate can log in to the system through an user ID and password.
Registration is mandatory for all eligible and willing candidates. In case of non registration by a candidate in the specified period ,the candidate would not be permitted to participate in the counselling for submission of choices.
4. On line Registration by candidates is allowed only in first round. No fresh registrations will be allowed in the 2nd round counselling.
5. Candidates can get themselves registered online from any internet point during 1st round of counselling in predefined registration period.
6. Candidates, after successful registration can submit their choices and revise them as many times as desired before locking. Candidates are required to lock their choices at the end of the locking period. Unlocked choices automatically locked by the system and would be considered for the allotment of the seats.
7. Choices of the institution selected by the registered candidates would be processed at the end of 1st round of counselling and candidates would be allotted seats in the order of merit and as per reservation criteria and also availability of seats in the institution.
Admission Procedure
1. Successful candidates in 1st round are required to report to allotted institute during the specified period of reporting for completion of admission formalities viz.
2. Document verification – candidates are required to produce all original documents during verification, if failed to produce the original documents his / her candidature will be cancelled.
Submission of willingness during online admission to the institution for further upgradation/participation in the subsequent of counselling.
3. During the 2nd round of allotment, the choices exercised during 1st round will be considered for up gradation as well as fresh allotment for those candidates who have not received any college in the 1st round of counselling.
4. Reporting for online admission at allotted institute is mandatory for each candidate, otherwise the candidate may forfeit the allotted seat and would not be allowed to participate further round of counselling. After admission, mark sheet will be send for verification to the respective board / council and if anything wrong is detected at any point, the admission of the candidate will be cancelled. The same is applicable for the supportive documents, such as Caste Certificate (if applicable), Residential Certificate etc. Moreover, if anything found false after the admission or during at any point of the training, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled.
5. Candidates can resign (withdraw) from counselling reporting in any of the round of counselling but would not claim for refund of counselling fee by any means.
6. After each round of allotment, a successful candidate who has secured a seat, has to be present physically at the time of document verification and admission to the allotted institute.
7. Medical examination form to be obtained from respective colleges during the time of reporting . Candidate has to undergo the specific medical check-up and filled in medical check-up form which will be submitted to the respective institutions within three (3) days of admission. In case, if it is found that the candidate is not medically fit, her candidature will be cancelled.
8. Registered candidates have to follow the website and this page regularly till the completion of counselling for any change in schedule / special notice or for further counseling.
9. Candidate taking admission in Private colleges has to pay non-refundable Rs 5000/- as admission processing fee for the first opted college in case of change of college (if applicable) only.
