The Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust is the parent body of MGMIHS which was established in 1982 by Hon. Shri Kamalkishore Kadam with a futuristic vision to provide qualitative education by applying innovative and dynamic pedagogical techniques. The MGM Trust was established in Nanded, Maharashtra and in the course of time it extended its services to Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai and Parbhani in Maharashtra and Noida [New Delhi] in Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria
For B.Sc Nursing
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission to be sought.
2. A candidate should have passed in the subject of PCB & English Core/ English Elective individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB in the qualifying examination ie (10+2) from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or equivalent Board.
3. Students passed 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
4. Relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
5. Candidate shall be medically fit.
For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
1. Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2. General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
3. Equivalency of foreign nursing qualification from Indian Nursing Council in case GNM from Foreign countries.
4. Candidate should be Medically fit.
For M.Sc Nursing
1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2. The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing or Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, from a recognized hospital of minimum 100 bed’s capacity or a community health setup or a recognized nursing educational institution.
4. Candidate shall be medically fit.
5. Merit based on Entrance examination conducted by MGMIHS.
For Post Basic Diploma Programme
1. Be a registered nurse (R.N. & R. M.) or equivalent.
2. Possess a minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse.
3. Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission.
4. Candidate Should be physically fit.

Downloading of admit card is over…!!!
1. The candidate applied for MGM-CET (Nursing) examination shall have to produce the original valid admit card before entering the examination venue.
2. Admit card only authorizes the candidate to enter the examination hall & appear for MGM –CET (Nursing). It does not imply that the candidate satisfies all the requirements of eligibility conditions of admission.
3. The admit cards will be sent by post/ courier on the registered addresses of candidates from the date which is mentioned in the list onward. In case the candidate do not receive the card he/she may collect duplicate admit card from MGMIHS, Navi Mumbai OR from his/her respective examination centre 3 hours before the commencement of CET examination.
4. Since the Hall Ticket is an important document, candidates must not tamper with the same or make any changes in the entries made by the MGM Institutes. The Hall Ticket must be produced at the time of entering the Examination Hall at the centre and later, when necessary, and also at the time of counselling. The Hall Ticket is not transferable to any other person.
Exam Pattern
1. The detail addresses of examination centers with phone numbers will be available on website. The students are advised to visit our website – www.mgmihs.com regularly for updated information pertaining to MGMCET-(Nursing).
2. The examination will be conducted in English.
3. The syllabus of CET examination are based on the qualifying examinations for respective course.
4. Nature of the examination shall be Objective and Multiple Choice Questions. There will be only one question paper having 100 MCQ for 100 Marks.

Merit List
The merit list of the candidates will be prepared by the MGMIHS in accordance to the total marks obtained by them in the MGM-CET (Nursing) indicating their rank as Serial Merit No. (SML).
Selection Process
1. The Selection to a course/college will be made as per merit cum preference given by the candidate.
2. The schedule of counseling will be displayed on the website i.e. ww.mgmihs.com after declaration of the result.
3. The selection will be on the basis of merit and the preference form submitted by the candidate.
4. The candidate shall have to appear personally and must produce original certificates at the time of admission and a set of attested photocopy of each of the document as per the list mentioned in the application form.
5. To confirm the admission, the candidate shall have to deposit his/her tuition fee together with all relevant original certificates and documents on the day of counseling.
6. The candidate who don’t appear on the date of counseling or do not join the college by the prescribed date for joining mentioned in the selection letter shall forfeit the claim for a seat at constituent.
