University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. With an ambitious vision and unique approach, UPES emerged as an innovative institution offering industry-focused specialized graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology, Design, Planning & Architecture, Public Policy and Legal studies.
UPES Management Entrance Test (MET) 2017 is the 5th online test for admission to UPES MBA programs focused on sectors driving the growth of the economy. Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks in class X, XII and graduation can appear for the exam. Exam date of UPES MET 2017 will be announced soon.

After completing the submission process successfully, you must take a print-out of the completed application form for your reference. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and in graduation can seek admission to a UPES – MBA programs by taking the UPES Management Test. (UPESMET).

Admit Card
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) will issue the online admit card of UPES Exam so that candidates can download the hall ticket to appear in the entrance exam. Candidate need to enter application number and DOB or email ID to obtain the admit card online.The duly completed downloaded admit card with photograph affixed (duly attested) in the space provided will have to be produced at the allotted test center. Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will not be permitted to take the test.
Entrance Test Locations / City Codes
Kindly refer to the table given at upes.ac.in for filling up the OMR/ Online Application form. Candidates are cautioned to fill the City code and shade correctly as the allotment of required Test City will be based on this information only. Candidates need to give both first and second choice as per their city preference in OMR/Online Application form.
Final allotted test center will be printed in the UPES 2017 Admit Card.

Admission Process
Admission to UPES MBA Programs are open through two Pathways
Non Examination Pathway – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT# followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview
- MAT / CMAT score of minimum 75 percentile
- CAT/ XAT score of minimum 70 percentile
- NMAT score of minimum 160
Examination Pathway – Apply for UPES Management Entrance Test 2017 (date will be notified later)
Candidates whose CAT/ XAT/ MAT/CMAT scores do not meet our criteria, but they still have minimum 50% marks in Class 10th and Class 12th and in graduation, can seek admission to UPES MBA programs by taking the UPES Management Entrance Test – Exam date will be announced soon.
