About University

Bijapur Lingayat Development Education Association (BLDEA) was established on 23-10-1910. In the year 1942 a visionary religious leader Shri Shri Sanganabasaveshwar Maha Shivayogigalu of Banthanal, laid a firm foundation to BLDEA with establishment of institutes of collegiate education. A new era began when Mr. M.B. Patil, a young and dynamic leader, took reins of the BLDE Association. His primary objective was quality education with recent concepts of liberalization and globalization.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed graduation and have a bachelors degree in Medicine (MBBS) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

Candidate should have passed MBBS from any recognized university which is recognized by Medical Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks.

MBBS

Candidate must have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. English is also a mandatory subject for eligibility in many of the universities and colleges. However, AIIMS requires an aggregate of 60% for the general category candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
