About University

Davangere University prior to its establishment functioned as a Post-Graduate Centre of the University of Mysore from 1979 to 1987. Later, with the establishment of Kuvempu University in 1987, the P.G. Center came under the jurisdiction of the new university due to its geographical location and hence functioned as its P.G. Centre from 1987 to 2009.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

• MSW

Candidate should have passed BSW from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

• M.A

Candidate should have passed intermediate or +2 from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• M.S

Candidate should have passed intermediate or +2 from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• M.Com

Candidate should have passed intermediate or +2 from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• MAF

Candidate should have passed intermediate or +2   in arts stream from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• MBA

Candidate should have passed BBA from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• M.Ed

Candidate should have passed  graduation from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• M.Phil

Candidate should have passed B.A /B.Sc  from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

• Ph.D

Candidate should have passed  M.A from any recognized university/board with minimum 50% marks.

The Candidates appearing for counseling and seeking admission to any programme should bring the following documents (Original 4- 1 set of Photocopies):
(i) SSLC Marks Card
(ii) Degree Marks Cards of all the Semesters/Years.
(iii) Category Certificate for claiming seats under Reservation Category.
(iv) 5 Recent Passport size Photographs.
(v) Certificates from competent/concerned authority for claiming seat under Special Category
(vi) Transfer Certificate
(vii) Migration Certificate for Other University candidates
(viii) Prescribed Fee amount to be paid to the University.
