About University

The Centre was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, to mark the birth centenary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Since 2002, JNCASR Centre is recognized as a Deemed to be University by the University Grants Commission and students’ degrees are awarded directly by JNCASR. Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a Deemed University and Multidisciplinary Research Institute.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

• M.S + P.hD

Candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks at the Bachelor’s level in B.Sc./B.E/ B.Tech. as applicable to the area. Candidate who are appearing for your final examination in Bachelor's course, you can also apply.

• M.S.

Candidate should have passed post graduation in Science.

• For P.hD

Candidates should have master's degree with atleast 55% marks in M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E.

Fee Structure

• Master of Science - 25,000.
• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech) - 50,000.
• Master of Engineering/Technology - 25,000.
