About University

MVN University (MVNU) is a Private University established by Modern Vidya Niketan Society under Haryana State Private University Act. M.V.N. stands for Modern Vidya Niketan. MVN Society is in the field of education for more than 31 years as of 2015. It was in the year 1983 that MVN Society was founded and the same year it established Modern Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School in Sector 17. The school was established under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and noted educationist. In the year 2000, M.V.N. Aravali Hills was established. Then in 2008, Les Filles MVN Institute of Engineering and Technology (Girls College) and Gopal Sharma MVN Institute of Engineering and Technology (Co-ed) were established. In 2009, Modern Vidya Niketan School, Palwal was established. MVN University was established in the year 2012 for providing higher education through UG, PG and PhD courses. Modern Vidya Niketan University has an area of 23 acre campus which includes schools providing different degrees and courses.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one ca the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained at least 50% marks on the above subjects taken together.

Diploma

Candidate should have passed (Matriculation/10th) examination from CBSE or Board of School Education, Haryana or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Tech

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science Engneenrig/Comptner Engneering/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical Engineering or Master of Computer Application (MCA) or M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or M.Sc. (Maths) or M.Sc (Physics) with at least 50% marks in aggregate along with valid GATE score.

Should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board/University.

Recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained as least 50% marks at the qualifying examination.

B.Com

A candidate should have passed Senior Secondary examination (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate Or equivalent CGPA from CBSE :Haryana School Education Board.

M.Com

Should have passed Bachelors Degree in Commerce recognised by the Board/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Admission Procedure

Admission at MVN University is irrespective of caste, creed, color & religion.
Admission in any course at MVN University is strictly on the basis of minimum eligibility as mentioned in Programs at a Glance.
All Candidates seeking admissions in various programmes In the University should procure
Admission cum information brochure by paying Rs. 1000/· from the counter at MVN University
Campus, Palwal, or any other authorized outlets as mentioned on the MVN website.
Alternatively, they may download tile Admission Brochure from tile MVN website. All applicants would fill in application form after satisfying themselves with the eligibility criteria and the instructions thereof. Applicants must submit application forms along-with necessary original documents to the document verification committee at the MVN University Campus.
The candidates shall appear for physical counseling on specified date mentioned in Admission Calender.
On the day or counseling candidates shall get their certificates/testimonials checked/verified from the document verification committee(s) appointed for the purpose.
A seat shall be deemed to be allotted only when the candidate has deposited the fees.
Candidates desirous of seeking admission in B.Tech program of 4 year duration may note that admissions in these programmes shall be made on the basis of merit in JEE 2016 as first preference. in respect of any seats remaining vacant, the admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2/Senior Secondary Examination or equivalent.
Candidates desirous of seeking admission in M. Tech Programmes may note that admission shall be made on the basis of merit drawn on valid GATE Score in respect of seats remaining vacant the admission shall be made on the basis of qualifying examination.

Refund Policy

In the event of a student/candidate withdrawing before the start of the course, i.e. before the commencement of classes, the entire fee collected from the student shall be refunded after deducting a processing fee of Rs 1000 ( One thousand only).
If any student leave after joining the course & if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admission, the university will refund the tuition fee collected with proportionate deductions of monthly fee & proportionate hostel rent wherever applicable.
No fee will be refunded after the last date of admissions.
