About University

Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) established in December 2010 . The University has collaboration with Edinborough University Initiated. It is as a part of Internationalizing Higher Education Programme of the British Council, the KVASU and Royal (Dick), School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh, had jointly submitted a project under the “Knowledge Economy Partnership - 2011” for the sustainable academic partnership between the two institutions.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

• M.S/ M.Sc

Candidate shall have Bachelor’s Degree in Bio sciences (Botany, Zoology, Veterinary Science, Forestry etc.) (Students awaiting results can also apply.

• P.hD

Candidate shall have Masters Degree in the respective/related subject recognized by the University with an OGPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks at Masters Degree level. For SC/ST candidates the OGPA shall be 7.0/10 or equivalent. Students awaiting results can also apply.

• M.V.Sc

Candidate shall have Bachelors degree in Veterinary and Animal Sciences recognized by the University with an OGPA of 6.0/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of 50% marks in traditional system. For SC/ST candidates the OGPA shall be 5.5/10 or equivalent.

• B.Sc

Candidate shall have 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream (Students awaiting for results can also apply.

• Diploma Programme

Candidate shall have passed in Plus Two or VHSE with Biology as one subject.

• For Technology enabled Learning Programme

Candidate shall have passed in graduate in the area of Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fisheries/ Agri business/ Allied agricultural courses/ Biological sciences/Developmental sciences/ Social sciences/ Economics/ Commerce. (Students waiting for the result can also apply.
Technology Enabled (Distant) Learning Programs

Fee Structure

• M.S/ M.Sc - 70,000 per semester.
• B.Sc - 30,000 per semester.
• Diploma Programme - 20,000 per semester.
• Technology enabled Learning Programme - 20,000 per semester.
