JEE Main 2016 application form will be available from 1st December 2015. There is online mode of submission of application form is available. The exam dates are also announced. Here, we are providing you the details of how to register, fill up the application form and apply for the examination. Last Date of submission of application is 31st December 2015.
Things which candidates require while filling application form
• Candidate's personal and educational details
• Scanned image of his/her photograph
• Signature and left-hand thumb impression (scanned)
Instructions for scanned images
• The photograph of the candidate should be greater than 4 KB and smaller than 30 KB. Dimensions should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (Height). The photograph should be without cap or goggles. The candidates are free to upload black & white or colour photo. The name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph should be mentioned on the scanned photo.
• The signature and thumb impression images should be greater than 1 KB and smaller than 30 KB. Dimensions should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (Height). For boys: left hand thumb and for girls: right hand thumb impressions should be uploaded.
Note: The images should be in JPEG format only.
Registration Process
• In order to apply for exam, firstly you need to register yourself (with your mobile number, email od and password) at Official website.
• After registration process completion, the candidates need to head over to the 'Apply for JEE Mains 2016'.
• The given application format will open which should be completed according to your personal and educational details.
• A confirmation page will come up which candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and keep it for reference. You are not required to sent this page to JEE Mains conducting authority.
• After completing the application form, you now have to upload those scanned photographs, signature and thumb impressions.
• Then you have to make fee payment which you can pay either:
(a) by credit/debit card, or
(b) by depositing fee in cash in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank through e-challan generated during the online filling of application form.
• After, completing all the above steps now sit relax. You can now check status of application form by logging into the Official website.
Note: If you have made any mistakes in your completed application form then you can't change the information at this time. A chance may be given to the candidates to correct/modify some of the particular(s) of the application form online only, with valid reason(s), during the month of Jan 2015. You can check the dates by keeping yourself updated with our website.

Note: In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit card, the candidates will need to pay an
additional processing charge as following:-
Credit Card:- 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable.
Debit Card:- 0.75% + taxes for examination fee up to Rs.2000 and 1% +taxes for examination
fee more than Rs.2000.

• Using security question & its answer you chose during form filling
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your registered mobile number
• Using a reset link sent via Email to your registered email address.
