Here, we are going to provide you the latest exam pattern and syllabus of JEE Main 2016 which is very important if you're going to attend the examination this year.
Mode of Examination
• The examination will be conducted in two modes - offline (Pen and Paper Based) and online (Computer Based) for B.E/B.Tech.
• The examination will be conducted only in offline (Pen and Paper Based) for B. Arch./B. Planning.
Note: A candidate will opt for either Pen and Paper Based or Computer Based examination modes for Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) only.
Note: The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.
Exam Pattern
• JEE Mains 2016 will be total of 3 hours (180 minutes). Question Paper contains objective questions from the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with equal distribution of marks as per given below:

• There will be only one correct response for each question out of four responses given.
• One-fourth marks (¼) will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question. However, no deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for a question.
• All calculations/writing work is to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre. On completion of the test, candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the examination hall.
