JEE Mains application will soon start by the 1st December 2016. Exam dates are also announced. Answer Keys and images of response sheets (OMR sheets) of Pen & Paper based examination & Computer Based Examination will be available by CBSE in third week of April 2016.
Answer keys will be also released by the various educational institutions as soon as the exam will be conducted. JEE Main contains two Papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for B.E./B.Tech and Paper-II is for B.Arch/B.Planning students. Answer Keys of all the sets will be released after the examination.
Benefits of Answer Keys
The answer key is very beneficial as students can match their own responses with them and can check how many wrong or right answers they marked. In JEE Mains exam, 4 marks will be awarded to every candidate for answering a question correctly whereas for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted as negative marking.
Challenging Official Answer Key
Candidates can also challenge the official answer key of JEE Mains when it will available. If a candidate is not satisfied with the correct option given in the Official answer key then he/she may challenge the answer key by filling online application form and paying the specified sum per question.
