JIPMER PG Result → will be announced for admission in MD / MS on the official website of JIPMER after conduction of entrance exam. Result of JIPMER MD / MS Entrance Exam 2017 can be checked here by candidates. Admission to all the seats shall be done on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance exam conducted for PG courses, by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry.

• JIPMER PG 2017 entrance exam results declaration along with Merit List → on or before 18 Dec 2016
IPMER PG Result 2017 – January Session
• The candidates may refer to the ranked merit list and note their eligibility to attend the Counseling from 21 Dec 2016 in the Academic Section, JIPMER Academic Centre – ID Floor (Adjacent to JIPMER Women & Children Hospital) for verification of certificates and provisional admission.
• JIPMER Result for PG (MD/MS) 2017 will be declared here as per official announcement.
• Indian Candidates Sponsored by Govt (State/Central/Service) → Their admission to the respective discipline is subject to the submission of Sponsorship certificate as given in prospectus along with other original certificates. Failure to submit the sponsorship certificate will entail the risk of allocating the seat to next eligible candidate in the merit list who will be attending the counseling.
• Foreign National → Their admission is subject to clearance by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and submission of relevant certificates. Failure to report will be taken that the said candidate is “not interested” in taking up the admission. The admission of the candidate who fails to report within the stipulated date and time will be automatically cancelled without any further correspondence.
JIPMER PG Merit List
Merit list prepared for category wise (UR, OBC, INST, SC, ST, OPH) will be displayed in the Notice Board of Academic Section, JIPMER and website www.jipmer.edu.in as per schedule. Candidates will NOT be informed individually either through telephone or by post, etc.
• In case of two or more candidates obtain same percentile in the Entrance Examination, their Inter-se-merit shall be determined as follows:
1. Candidate scoring less negative marks will be placed at a higher merit.
2. In case of tie with same percentile rank and same number of wrong responses, date of birth shall be considered to determine inter-se-merit. An elder candidate shall be placed at a higher merit.
Selection Of Sponsored / Foreign National Candidates
1. A combined merit list of the sponsored/foreign national candidates will made. Seats will be allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test.
2. If suitable candidates are not available in the Sponsored / Foreign national Seats, the same will be pooled to the Roster point reservation.
JIPMER PG Entrance Exam Rank Letter
Downloadable rank letter will be hosted on website 3 days after publication of merit list. No individual communication regarding merit / ranking / counseling call letter shall be sent to any candidate. This downloaded rank letter should be retained safely till the completion of Admission Process.
