MP PAHUNT 2016 (Vyapam) details about Examination for Admission

The Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards were amalgamated and named as Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (M.P.P.E.B.). Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board by Govt. Order No.1325-1717-42-82 dated 17.04.1982 has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission to various colleges in the state.

MP PAHUNT is for candidates who are seeking admission to Pre Ayurved, Homeopaty, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga courses. Candidates who are appearing for MP PAHUNT 2016 should fulfill the eligibility criteria. MP PAHUNT exam was held in the month of July 2016.

Exam Pattern

The Entrance Examination is conducted in English and Hindi languages. Candidate has to opt any one medium while filling up the application form.

There shall be one paper (multiple choice) of three hours duration. Paper will contain 200 multiple choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. The paper shall have two parts as following

Note:In objective type questions, one mark is awarded for each correct answer. No Marks shall be awarded for an incorrect answer or multiple answers or for unanswered questions. There is no negative marking.

MP PAHUNT 2016 exam held on 31 Jul 2016 at various examination centres in State of Madhya Pradesh. Result is declared online on the official website of MP Vyapam. For MP PAHUNT 2016 22611 candidates applied, out of which 18261 appeared for the examination. Candidates can check their result.

Merit List

1. A combined merit list shall be declared for the admission in the Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy/Unani colleges of only those candidates who are bonafide residents of Madhya Pradesh and are qualified.

2. A Combined Merit list including all candidates of Madhya Pradesh and the candidates from outside the state of Madhya Pradesh, who have qualified and have appeared in PAHUNT shall be declared for the Private Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy/ Unani/ /Naturopathy Colleges.

Note: Merit list for Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy/ Unani Colleges of Madhya Pradesh will be prepared category wise, according to merit.

Inter-se-merit

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the entrance examination, the interse merit of such candidate shall be determined in order of the following preferences/order:
On the basis of marks obtained in part -B of Question paper i.e. Zoology and Botany.
Candidate being older in age.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. The candidate must be bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh for admission in Government (Autonomous) Colleges, but to be bonafide resident of M.P. will not be essential for admission in Private Colleges.

2. Candidate born in Madhya Pradesh and studied for three years continuously in any educational institution of Madhya Pradesh.
Or
The father of candidate living in Madhya Pradesh continuously since not less then 15 years.
Or
3. The father of candidate living in Madhya Pradesh continuously since last 10 years and having immovable property / Industry/ Business in Madhya Pradesh.
Or
4. The father of candidate is a serving employee or retired employee of Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Or
5. . The father of candidate is an serving employee or retired employee of a Institution/ Corporation/ Board/ Commission under Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Or
6. The father of candidate is an employee of Government of India who is posted in Madhya Pradesh since last 10 years.
Or
The father of candidate is an officer of All India services belonging M.P. cadre.
Or
The father of candidate is appointed in Madhya Pradesh on Constitutional/legal post by Honorable President of India/Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

7. Certificate regarding bonafide resident of M.P. must be issued by the Collector or an officer authorized by the Collector of the district concerned. The certificate must show reference number, date of issue, seal and designation of the Issuing Officer.

8. Guardian of a candidate means a person who from the date of the death of candidate’s father and mother till the date of submitting application form is actual custodian and controller of candidate or his/her immovable property or both, as decided by the District Collector concerned. Guardian shall have to necessarily produce a certificate stating so from a competent court. If the father of the candidate is not alive and mother is alive then mother only shall be considered as a natural guardian of the candidate, nobody else shall be recognized as a guardian.

9. Regarding M.P. bonafide resident certificate directive has been issued by General Administration Department Govt. of M.P. circular no. C/17/1/2011 dated 20.12.11. Accordingly candidates have to produce bonafide resident certificate in the valid Proforma (Proforma 6) after 20.12.11.The valid bonafide resident certificate issued by the competent authority of M.P. before 20.12.11 shall also be accepted

10. Regarding M.P. bonafide resident certificate directive has been issued by General Administration Department Govt. of M.P. circular no. C-3-7-2013-3-One dated 25.09.2014. Accordingly candidate can produce self declared bonafied resident certificate in the valid proforma.

11. For admission to BAMS /BHMS/ BUMS/BNYS course, only those candidates are eligible who have passed the 12th Exam of 10+2 system (qualifying examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects separately and has secured not less than 50% aggregate marks for unreserved category and not less than 40% aggregate marks for reserve category. For admission to BUMS course, only those candidates are eligible who have compulsorily passed Urdu subject in addition to the qualifying exam from Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh or Tenth Board or equivalent examination in Urdu recognized by Govt. of M.P./Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. Candidates of all categories and classes are required to have passed English subject in the qualifying examination of 10+2 system.

12. Upper age limit for the candidates seeking admission on state quota seats shall be 25 years as on 31 December 2016; the year of entrance examination. Further provided that this age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (Five) years for reserved category candidates of MP. Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

Counselling 

1. MP PAHUNT Counselling 2016 and Seat Allotment is done on the basis of MP PAHUNT Entrance Test result 2016. Schedule and procedure of MP PAHUNT Counselling 2016 will be given after the declaration of results for qualified candidates.

2. The allotment process in a course and college for an eligible candidate will be done through online counselling. The detailed information regarding online counseling will be issued separately.

3. Candidate’s and father’s name should appear same in all the related documents i.e. mark sheet, certificates and other documents. If there is any discrepancy in any documents the same should be corrected before verification for online counselling otherwise if the application form is rejected the candidate himself/herself will be responsible.


4. A Candidate admitted to Ayush course on the basis of previous year’s PAHUNT examinations, if succeeds in the present examination PAHUNT 2016 shall have to submit all the original documents with completed profarma-1and 1(a) or photocopies there of along with a certificate of the Principal of the institution certifying that all these certificates (showing list) are in his custody. On allotment of a seat the candidate shall have to produce all the original documents to the authorities of the allotted college, otherwise his/her admission will be treated as cancelled.

Registration

The prescribed date of registration will be published in the news papers and will be available on MP Online Portal. Candidate shall have to register on MP online Portal or Kiosk by the payment of Rs.150/- (Rs. One Hundred Fifty Only) for that receipt will be given. (The separate fee for print out of the registration through KIOSK shall not be payable.). Candidate shall have to get his correct information entered. The registration number and the secret password will be given to each and every candidate after registration. Candidates should have to change the same compulsorily at the time of choice filling.

Document Verification 

The candidate shall have to go to any one of the following centers (help center) for verification (Proforma – 1) of all original documents according to the details given at the time of registration

1. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Bhopal.

2. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Gwalior.

3. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Indore.

4. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Jabalpur.

5. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Rewa.

6. Govt.(Autonomous) Ayurved College, Ujjain.

7. Govt.(Autonomous) Homoeopathic College, Bhopal.

8. Govt.(Autonomous) Unani College, Bhopal.

If there is any error or deficiency in the information given by a candidate at the time of registration, except the information furnished while applying to VYAPAM, the same can be get rectified at verification centre.

Document verification fee

For verification candidate have not to pay any fee for verification of Document at verification center. Verification will be free of Cost.

Selection of Institution 

1. Candidate has to select option of Course/Institution in order, according to his/her preference at MP online Portal or Kiosk for that the prescribed fee of Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) shall be payable to MP online Portal or Kiosk (The separate fee for print out of the choice filling through KIOSK shall not be paid) The receipt of the fee paid will be given to the candidate in which the list of institutions selected by the candidate will be shown. After first time choice filling the next will be charged Rupees Hundred Only.

2. Candidate may receive the allotment letter on the prescribed allotment date after entering the PAHUNT roll number, date of birth and changed password at the time of choice filling on MP online portal or Kiosk.

Reporting 

Candidate shall have to report to the allotted college after allotment of institution and shall ensure his/her admission by entering PAHUNT roll number and password.

Admission Procedure

1. After candidate’s allotment for a course and a College through Counseling, he /she shall report to the Principal of the College concerned on the notified date and time.


2. The Admission Committee of the College consisting of two senior teachers and at least two teachers belonging to reserved category shall verify the original documents of candidates and if found eligible, shall recommend admission of the candidate to the Principal.
After admission, the original documents will be returned to the candidates after verification from issuing authority.


3. If a candidate does not present till the notified date or left after joining or remains absent for a continuous period of 15 days without prior intimation to the Head of the Institution his/her claim shall be forfeited and allotment /admission given shall be deemed to have been cancelled.
The candidates shall have to undergo Examination for Medical Fitness and shall be admitted only if found medically fit.

Fee Structure

Every candidate admitted in Govt. (Autonomous) and Private Colleges shall have to pay fees as shown and decided by Fee Regulatory Authority respectively at the time of reporting.


Note: The benefit of Government schemes of reimbursement of fees and scholarships for the admitted students in Govt. Autonomous and Private Colleges under the Department of AYUSH may be availed as per the eligibility in accordance with Government rules.
