Fill the details to register for any programme
Press the button “Submit”. Once the information filled here will not be changed.
The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email entered.
Note → Kindly note the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

On clicking “Already Logged In Candidate (CLICK HERE) to Complete Process” page will appear which will have buttons indication 4 actions which are to be completed for submission of online application form:
Action 1 → Fill Application
Action 2 → Uploading image (Photograph and Signature)

Action 1 → Fill Application (Click on the button to fill application form)
Fill the details on the online application form. Since your eligibility will be screened based on the information furnished by you, you are required to exercise sufficient care to correctly furnish the details of your Qualification, etc.
While filling the application form online, please save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.
In case you wish to edit any information you can do that by log in again using Email-ID and Date of birth and after editing the information, make sure to save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.
Action 2 → Uploading images
Upload Photograph → Photograph must be a recent passport size color picture. Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white background, and has no harsh shadows. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. Also, ensure that both ears are visible in the picture. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face. The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should be not be more than 50 kb.
Upload Signature – Sign on white paper with Black ink pen and scan it. Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page and ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 kb. Please note that this signature would appear on the Admit Card, and if it does not match the signature on the answer sheet at the time of the written test and at the time of Interview, the candidature will be cancelled. The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should not be more than 50 kb.
Action 3 → Make Payment
There are two options available for payment of admission fee as given below:
• Demand Draft
• Debit / Credit Card
• On selection of any option click button “Submit”. On clicking button “Submit” the information about Name, Category, Examination fees will be displayed.
Note → Once the payment has been made through Debit/Credit Card or Demand Draft; you will not be allowed to change/modify any information.
• Payment through Debit Card / Credit Card → Keep the Debit Card / Credit Card Details handy for payment of application fee (Rs. 1500/- in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs. 750/- in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates).
Payment through Demand Draft → In case payment option selected is demand draft follow the procedure given below.
• Make demand draft in favour of “All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi of applicable application fee (Rs. 1500/- in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs. 750/- in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates).
• The details of the Demand Draft are to be filled in the online application form.
• Candidates are advised to check the following details carefully before sending the demand draft.
• DD to be made in favour of “All India Management Association” , Payable at New Delhi
Amount of Demand Draft as applicable i.e. Rs. 1500/- in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs. 750/- in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates.
Signature of the issuing authority on the demand draft.
• Candidates applying through Demand Draft are required to send the printout of the Application Form, duly completed in all respect, along with Demand Draft on the following address so as to reach on or before 12 August 2016,

Eligibility Criteria
All candidates applying for GDPD programmes must fulfil the following criteria:
Age Limit
Upper age limit for candidates is 20 years of age (relaxable by three years for reserved category) on or before July 1, 2016.
General Category applicants: Candidates born on or before July 1, 1996 are not eligible.
Reserved Category applicants (OBC-NCL, SC, ST & PH): Candidates born on or before July 1, 1993 are not eligible
1. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (www.aiuweb.org).
2. Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. – Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
3. Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
H.S.C. vocational examination.
4. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
5. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
6. Candidates who have completed Class XII (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class XII examination.
Admission Process
• All candidates applying for the GDPD programme and having made necessary payment for registration will be called for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
• There will be one question paper containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with OMR sheet for answers by the candidates. The question paper will be in English and carry a total of 100 marks. At the announced test centres, the DAT will be held from 10 a.m. to 1.00 ap.m. on 28th August 2016.
• Based on the scores obtained in DAT shorlisted candidates only will be called for a second round of exams at NID-Kurukshetra transit campus, as per the announcements on the web-site.
• Second-round of the test i.e. Studio/ Situation Tests will consist of different sections in different format such as hands on practical assignments, etc. The studio test will carry a total of 100 marks. The test will be conducted in English.
• Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories will be declared as qualified on the basis of a relaxed criterion as under :
• Based on the available number of seats, the top ranking candidates will be offered admissions in the first merit list. The score of the last candidate in the first merit list for category will be considered as cut off score for general category. Based on this, relaxation in the cut-off scores of candidates in reserved categories will be as follows:
1. OBC-NCL → 10% less than Cut off score of General Category.
2. SC → 20% less than Cut off score of General Category.
3. ST → 20% less than Cut off score of General Category.
4. PH → 30% less than Cut off score of General Category.
• Separate, category wise list of Waitlisted candidates shall be prepared in order of merit.
• Unfilled seats based on cut-off in merit or unavailability of candidate in the OBC-NCL catetory will be allotted to General Category candidates. Seats remaining vacant under the SC & ST categories shall not be allotted to candidates belong to other categories.
• The category selected by a candidate at the time of submitting the application form will be final and requests for any change of category will NOT be entertained at a later date.
• No provisional admission shall be admissible for delay in submission of caste/category certificate.
