About University

Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the founder of Christ University.Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government of India, vide Notification No. 9-34/2007-U.3(A), had declared Christ College as a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University on July 22, 2008.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech

Candidate must have completed (10+2) or Higher Senior Secondary Examination with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology as the
optional subject and also the English language from the CBSE or from any other equivalent recognised board or candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline obtained through the (10+2)+3 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognised University or equivalent to it or candidate should obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

M.C.A

Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field obtained through the (10+2)+3 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognised University with minimum aggregate of 55% marks. All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

M.Sc

For admission to undergraduate courses, candidate must have passed intermediate or +2 from recognized board.
For admission to Postgraduate courses, candidate must have passed graduation from recognized university.
