KLE University was accorded, University status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India on the advise of the University Grants Commission on 13th April, 2006 (under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide MHRD, G.O.I Notification No.F.9-19/2000-U.3 (A) dt. 13th April 2006). It has been established by KLE Society which was established more than 90 years ago in the year 1916 by seven dedicated Teachers (aptly called as Saptarishis) and three Patrons.

Admission And Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc

Candidate must have passed English with minimum 40% and above marks in PCB in 10+2 qualifying examination. 5% relaxation is provided in minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ST candidates.

M.Sc

Candidate must have passed graduation examination with minimum 55% marks.

M.Pharm

Candidate must have passed graduation examination with minimum 50% marks.

Candidate must have passed English with minimum 40% marks in PCB in 10+2. 5% relaxation is provided in minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ST candidates
