About University

Kuvempu University is established in 1987 by an act of the Karnataka State Legislature through an Amendment No.28/1976 dated 29 January 1989 under the Karnataka State University Act 1976. The university is named after Kuvempu, a renowned poet in Kannada. The University was recognized by the UGC in 1994 and is also a member of the Association of Indian UniversitiesThe National Assessment and Accreditation Council has conferred the "Third star Status" to the Kuvempu University

Candidate should have completed their Graduation -Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field obtained through the (10+2)+3 system from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. Candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. All SC/ST candidate are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

• B.P.ED

Candidate should have completed their Graduation -Bachelor's Degree in any discipline obtained through the (10+2)+3 system from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.Candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
