The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT-II) is a state level eligibility of the Govt. of W.B. conducted by the MAKAUTWB. Test held every year for admission to the MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes offered by the Management Institutions of the State (both government and private). This test is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology on behalf of the State Government as per the guidelines framed by AICTE, in pursuance of the Supreme Court judgments on August 14, 2003 and October 31, 2002 and in terms of the policy framework laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, vide no f-17-18/2002- T.S.I. dt. October 10, 2003.

Application Form JEMAT II 2016
The application form is to be submitted online at www.jemat.eadmissions.net. Filled up application forms are to be printed and submitted to the University office along with copies of mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- for general category and Rs. 300 /- for SC / ST / OBC Category from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favor of “MAKAUTWB-JMET II” payable at Kolkata.

How to apply
1. The candidates are required to pay the requisite fee by drawing a demand draft, from any Nationalized bank, once the fee demand draft is prepared then candidates will be required to apply online through website : http://jemat.eadmissions.net.
Note : Application form will be rejected, if the form along with demand draft and other testimonials, are not received within the stipulated time.
2. The applicant has to access the website http://jemat.eadmissions.net for seeing the detailed notice issued by the University.
3. Before starting applying of his/her application on the website, the applicant should read the notice carefully. He / she has to evaluate his / her eligibility for the category.
4. Before starting applying of his/her application on-line, the applicant should be ready with the soft copies of passport size photo (max 100 kb, min 20 kb, .jpg format) and signature (max 100 kb, min 20 kb, .jpg format) which are required to be uploaded after filling up of the inputs and uploading the application on-line.
5. The applicants should note that the particulars mentioned in the on-line application will be considered as final and no change / alteration / modification will be allowed / entertained after submission of the on-line application under any circumstances.
6. After submission of application, an application number will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The application number along with the password shall be sent to the applicant to the given email id and sms to given mobile number in the application. Applicant has to retain this number and password for future references.
7. Mode of Payment:- the application fee are already prescribed under the payment of fee link. the applicant has to draw a demand draft in favor of “MAKAUTWB-JEMAT II” payable at Kolkata
The applicants after successful submission of the on-line application is advised to keep print out of his application, copy of demand draft, receipt issued by the bank for any future reference.
8. The applicant has to furnish a declaration to the effect that the inputs furnished by him/her are true, complete and correct to the best of his / her knowledge and they will be supported by the original documents / testimonials as and when required/demanded. any false/incorrect information found / detected at any stage, his/her candidature/appointment will be summarily rejected / terminated. Therefore it is mandatory for the applicant to tick the check box about this declaration at end of the application form, before saving and uploading the application.
9. The candidate must mention on the envelope or superscribe : “Application for the JEMAT II 2016”

Eligibility Criteria
The Minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Medical / Dental / Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) may also apply.

How to download JEMAT II Admit Card 2016?
- Click on Admit card download.
- Enter Application Number & Password.
- On entering the details correctly, click on LOGIN.
- Get the hall ticket, download and print.

The admit card of MAKAUT JEMAT contains details of the candidate such as name, roll number. Also details of the test center is printed on the JEMAT admit card. Candidates are advised to check the test center and reach the same on time on the day of exam.

WBUT JEMAT II GD / PI Schedule 2016
Schedule for the WBUT JEMAT II 2016 GD/PI has been announced. Candidates who are qualified in the written test held by MAKAUTWB will only be eligible and called for GD/PI as per schedule dates.
Venue: Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology,
West Bengal, BF – 142, Salt Lake, Sector I, Kolkata – 700064.
Near Tank No. 5 and adjacent to Salt Lake swimming pool.
Sessions: Morning – 10.30 AM – 1.30 PM; Afternoon – 2.30 PM – 5.30 PM. Candidates should report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Please note that in the schedule given above, the serial numbers (Sr. No) do not reflect the ranks of the candidates. The serial numbers are also not the same as the Form Numbers / Roll Numbers. Ranks (based on Written Test and GD / PI) will be declared subsequent to the completion of the GD / PI process.
Attendance in GD/PI is mandatory to qualify JEMAT Phase II. Candidates who have appeared in JEMAT Phase I written examination but could not appear for GD/PI may appear for GD/PI on 28 Sep 2016 in the afternoon session.

- Demand Draft of Rs 600.00 drawn in favour of MAKAUTWB-JEMAT and payable in Kolkata.

Counselling – New!
Counselling will be conducted on the basis of the rank of the candidates. Candidates appearing for counselling are advised to check the schedule of the counselling.

Reporting Time : Candidates MUST Report at least 30 minutes before the Commencement of their Allotted Counseling Period as shown above in (2) & (3).

Candidates have to bring the following documents at the time of counseling
- All relevant mark sheets / certificates in original starting from 10th (with one photocopy of each for submission),
- Caste Certificate(where applicable),
- JEMAT admit card and
- JEMAT Rank Card (to be downloaded from the JEMAT website).
No change in allotment of college / institute will be allowed once the candidate completes counseling
Note :
1. Candidates are required to appear for counseling at the scheduled date and time at MAKAUT, WB. In case a candidate cannot appear in person for counseling, she/he can send her/his representative duly authorized by the candidate with a letter citing valid reason/s.
2. Candidates have to bring (a) all relevant mark sheets / certificates in original staring from 10th (with one photocopy of each for submission), (b) Caste Certificate(where applicable),(c) JEMAT admit card and (d) JEMAT Rank Card (to be downloaded from the JEMAT website).
3. No change in allotment of college / institute will be allowed once the candidate completes counseling.
4. Candidates who could not attend Counselling in JEMAT Phase-I shall come in the afternoon session only.
